Salman Ahman, who performed at Search for Common Ground’s 2008 Common Ground Awards ceremony, has a long history of putting his Sufi believes into practice through music. Ahman leads Junoon, the biggest and most successful rock band in South Asian. As one reviewer puts it, Salman Ahman is “like a Bob Marley or a John Lennon — someone who transcended superstar status to become a prophetic voice.”
