   “They say you should fear me, suspect me, hate me…” Who is the “They” referred to in this PSA, what are they actually saying, and who is really painting with a broad brush here?

     Interesting way to look at both sides. But it’s undeniable that there have been voices recently saying that the proposed Park51 Community Center, for example would be a victory for those behind 9/11 which essentially equates all Muslims with terrorists. I don’t think the “they” need be anyone other than those who have said things like “Islam is a violent religion” and the like. What do you think they are actually saying with this ad?
